Ivanova N.N., Bondarenko G.M., Unuchko S.V., Kutovaja V.V., Levitska O.V. & Semko G.O.

Introduction:

It was found that the antibody titers in the blood of patients with latent late syphilis who were treated with complex of the benzylpenicillin and liposomal preparation were in 2-4 times less than the antibody titres in patients in the group of patients treated only with benzylpenicillin. In addition the methyhemoglobin formation was not observed in patients with latent late syphilis after the treatment by the liposomal preparation and benzylpenicillin, whereas in patients treated by benzylpenicillin alone, the level of methemoglobin increased to 22%.
