Is Patient Centricity Truly at The Core of Clinical Trials?

Introduction: We are a curious species. As far back as 562 BC when Nebuchadnezzar compared the effect of two different diets on his subjects’ health (Daniel 1:1-16), we have been asking questions and using research to find answers. The first recognized controlled clinical trial occurred in 1747 when Dr. James Lind gave paired sailors different treatments to determine which one relieved scurvy1.
