Introduction: The aim of present work is to develop a simple, new, fast, accurate, precise, efficient and reproducible reverse phase isocratic stability-indicating high performance liquid chromatographic method for the estimation of rasagiline mesylate in a marketed formulation. Evolution of drug was done with a Devolosil ODS C18 (150 4.6mm, 5) column using pH 7.0 buffer: ACN (40:60) as a mobile phase. The system run at a flow rate of 1.0ml/min and the separation of method monitored at 210nm. The retention time is 8 min respectively. The process was found to be linear over a concentration range of 25-150g/ml. The method has been validated according to the guidelines of ICH and successfully employed also in the estimation of commercial formulations.
