Controlled Substances Regulation in Brazil: An Overview

Introduction:

Brazil is the fifth largest nation in the world and largest country in South America with enormous triangle on east side of continent having 4500 mile (7400 Kilometer) coastline along Atlantic Ocean bordering with cocaine source countries like Colombia, Peru and Bolivia. Agriculture is the principal bases of Brazil’s economy .One of the major export is car. Car selling in brazil is associated with drug trafficking. One article shows that by selling one Car to Paraguay $3000 will be earned. This is used to purchase around 3 kilos (6.6 pounds) of cocaine from cocaine source countries, which in turn give a return of $1500 when sold in Brazil.
